The Volleyball Institute of Performance is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of our youth athletes at the 2024 Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships , held in Coolangatta, Gold Coast, Australia. Amidst fierce competition and thrilling matches, our talented athletes showcased their exceptional skills, determination, and teamwork at this national-level event.
In an electrifying four days of competition the Victorian State Team Squad placed 2nd, with many of our athletes contributing to the success. We would like to congratulate the following VIP athletes on their representation within the State Beach Volleyball Team program:

In particular, we would like to congratulate Ellie Mellings on winning the Gold Medal along with her teammates in the Under 14 Girls Championship. In addition, she received the Most Valuable Player Award in recognition of her outstanding performance in the Grand Final match. We would also like to congratulate Izabella Cheng on her remarkable week, with her efforts contributing to her team winning the Silver Medal in the Under 15 Girls Championship.
We also recognise our coaches, Zach Ah-Tye (U18 Assistant Coach) and Daryl Basterfield (U15 Assistant Coach) for their involvement in the Beach State Team Program.
